So I’m sitting on the fence at the moment Googling stuff. I thought about having a demo but it’s likely that it would be installed in a akurate lp12 at a dealer and wouldn’t be a fair comparison with my deck.
For the price less what I could sell my Lingo 1 for is around £950 which doesn’t sound bad compared to the Radikal which is way above my pay grade. Then the Lingo 4 came out and it feels like it might be the icing on the cake. After sorting out my amps last year I thought that would be the end of my upgrades and I am very happy with my system. First upgrade was Lingo 1 In 2016 followed by Cirkus/Majik sub chassis/new motor and Dynavector K17D3 in 2018 (Oh and a Prefix). My system started in 2014 as An early 80s LP12 with Valhalla, Ittok vii and Troika. If the move to the 4 gives similar benefits them I all for it. In general people say it’s a big improvement but give no detail.when I upgraded from Valhalla to Lingo 1 in 2016 the improvement was massive. I’ve been struggling to find much in the way of impartial advice on whether the Lingo 4 upgrade from Lingo 1 will give significant improvements.
